Installation Guide
Cutting the Decal
Carefully cut around the decal print as close as possible. Use sharp scissors or a precision blade to ensure clean edges for a better fit.
Soaking the Decal
Place the decal in water for about 15 to 20 seconds, allowing it to loosen from the backing paper. Make sure it is fully submerged and begins to separate from the paper.
Preparing the Surface
Lightly moisten the area of the car where the decal will be applied. This will enable the decal to slide easily when positioning it on the car.
Applying the Decal
Gently transfer the decal from the backing paper onto the car using a soft brush or your fingers. Handle the decal carefully to avoid tearing.
Positioning the Decal
Once on the car, adjust the decal into the desired position. You can use a soft brush, your finger, or a smooth toothpick for precision. Make sure it’s aligned properly before proceeding.
Removing Excess Water
Use a dry brush to absorb any excess water around and under the decal. Gently press on the decal to push out any remaining water or air bubbles for a smooth finish.
Applying a Clear Coat (Optional)
For added protection, apply a clear coat over the entire car once the decals have dried. It is recommended to wait at least four hours after applying the decals before adding the clear coat. Be sure to avoid handling the car with oily fingers, as this can affect the finish.
Tips for Best Results
For even better adhesion, you can use Micro Set and Micro Sol solutions. Apply a small amount of Micro Set to the surface before positioning the decal to help it stick better, especially on intricate areas like panel lines. After applying the decal, brush on Micro Sol to soften the decal and help it conform to curves and edges. Be careful when using Micro Sol, as it makes the decal more fragile—use it sparingly and only when necessary.
